Deck overview

This Rakdos deck is a Spellslinger Burn strategy led by Kuja, Genome Sorcerer. The game plan revolves around casting Kuja on turn 3 or 4, accumulating 0/1 Wizard creature tokens, and transforming into Trance Kuja, Fate Defied to double all damage dealt by Wizards. The deck rapidly converts every noncreature spell into table-wide burn using Kuja's tokens, Guttersnipe, Coruscation Mage, and Black Waltz No. 3, with multipliers like Solphim, Mayhem Dominus and Artist's Talent accelerating life loss. Rituals such as Jeska's Will and Dark Ritual combine with recursion tools like Underworld Breach and Mizzix's Mastery to deliver lethal bursts across all opponents simultaneously. As an alternate instant win, the deck carries the compact two-card combo of Professor Onyx and Chain of Smog. While interaction and ramp are dense, the deck relies on creature survival and lacks countermagic, demanding careful timing when deploying key burn engines.
