Commander: Thranduil, the Elvenking

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

Thranduil, the Elvenking leads a Sultai value deck that blends Elves, landfall triggers, self-mill, and graveyard recursion. The early game is spent ramping through Llanowar Elves, Rampant Growth, and Wood Elves, while Crawling Sensation, Nyx Weaver, and Wrenn and Seven fill the graveyard. Once Thranduil, the Elvenking is on board, his activated-ability copying turns key Elves in the bin - especially Imperious Perfect and Lathril, Blade of the Elves - into repeatable token generation and table-wide drain. The deck finishes with a mid-sized swarm of Elves/Insects/Spider tokens, repeated life loss from Nadier's Nightblade and Exsanguinate, or combat damage from huge threats like Giant Adephage, Hornet Queen, and Moldgraf Monstrosity supported by Reanimate, Zombify, and Whip of Erebos. It is a grindy, incremental deck with no true fast combo, aiming to out-value the table and close around turn 10-11.
