Just Hoppin Around by emoboiqt

Format: Commander

Commander: Kwain, Itinerant Meddler

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

Kwain, Itinerant Meddler leads a group-hug stax deck that makes everyone draw and then punishes that draw. You deploy symmetrical engines like Howling Mine, Temple Bell, and Folio of Fancies with payoffs such as Smothering Tithe, Psychosis Crawler, and Consecrated Sphinx, while Ghostly Prison, Propaganda, and Silent Arbiter slow attacks. The main win is decking yourself with Laboratory Maniac or Jace, Wielder of Mysteries, or draining opponents with Psychosis Crawler or Folio mill, often through a Mind Over Matter untap loop or Isochron Scepter plus Dramatic Reversal for infinite mana and draws. Approach of the Second Sun offers a secondary win. Kwain is a repeatable draw engine and combo piece, but many redundant draw sources reduce reliance on him.
