Deck overview

This deck is a Jund Combo and Group Slug list built around Yurlok of Scorch Thrash. The primary strategy accelerates into Yurlok using fast artifact mana and creature dorks, then establishes an infinite untap loop using Umbral Mantle or Staff of Domination paired with cost reducers like Heartstone or mana multipliers like Mana Flare. Once looped, Yurlok generates unbounded mana for all players; when the active phase ends, Yurlok's static ability burns all opponents for lethal life loss simultaneously. As an alternate path, the list features a burn combo via Heartless Hidetsugu alongside damage amplifiers like Solphim, Mayhem Dominus and Wound Reflection, backed by an unconventional swarm of 23 Rat Colony creatures. The deck trades off reactive interaction and stack protection in favor of raw proactive velocity and symmetrical mana acceleration.
