Mono Black B2 by Skfury2010

Format: Commander

Commander: Ashnod, Flesh Mechanist

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

This is a mono-black value-and-aggro deck helmed by Ashnod, Flesh Mechanist, built around a swarm of cheap black creatures with death triggers and a deep recursion suite. The core loop is simple: deploy 1-drop bodies, attack with Ashnod while sacrificing a creature to bank a Powerstone, then recur the sacrificed creature to re-trigger its death effect. Powerstones and Wizard's Rockets fuel artifact synergies and Ashnod's {5} ability, which converts exiled creature cards into 3/3 Zombie tokens. The deck wins primarily through combat - Graf Harvest gives the swarm menace, Tarrian's Soulcleaver grows a beater as permanents die - backed by incidental table-wide drain from Serrated Scorpion, Engine Rat, and Lead Pipe. A slow alternate win sits in The Millennium Calendar. There are no infinite combos; this is a grindy, incremental-value deck that aims to out-value opponents through recursion and attrition.
