Deck overview

This mono-green deck uses Michelangelo, Mutant BFF to assemble an aggressive +1/+1 counters engine. It ramps during the early turns with efficient mana dorks and land fetchers, deploying Michelangelo on Turn 4 to create Mutagen tokens. These tokens modify your creatures, granting them pseudo-evasion by restricting opposing blockers. The deck scales rapidly in the mid-game through counter doublers like Court of Garenbrig, The Earth Crystal, and Ozolith, the Shattered Spire. Heavy hitters such as Ascendant Acolyte and Loyal Guardian turn wide boards into lethal threats. Trample enablers like Nylea's Forerunner and Shadowspear ensure combat damage pushes through opposing boards. While the deck lacks counterspells and proactive resource denial, it protects its assets with instant-speed answers like Heroic Intervention and Saved by the Shell.
