ral hopefully turn 3 by Pkdragon25

Format: Commander

Commander: Ral, Monsoon Mage // Ral, Leyline Prodigy

Bracket: 5

Deck overview

Ral, Monsoon Mage is a two-mana cost reducer and the deck's true engine; the deck is built to keep him on his front face, using rituals, wheels, and storm outlets to chain through the library. The Leyline Prodigy back face is a bonus once enough instants and sorceries have been cast, adding burn/draw or a free-cast ultimate, but it is not the main line. Primary wins are a Bonus Round, Reiterate, and Narset's Reversal loop that turns rituals into arbitrary mana and storm, finished by Brain Freeze or Grapeshot. Underworld Breach and Past in Flames provide recursion, and Tidespout Tyrant plus Sol Ring is a slower alternate loop. There is no true hidden commander; Electro, Assaulting Battery is redundant mana-engine support.
