Teach us how to blitz! - Henzie "Toolbox" Torre by user3115309

Format: Commander

Commander: Henzie "Toolbox" Torre

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This is a Jund (B,R,G) Henzie "Toolbox" Torre reanimator/value deck that leverages the commander's blitz ability to give high-mana-value creatures haste and a death-trigger draw. The primary game plan is to accelerate into large threats, use blitz to deploy them at instant speed with haste, and then sacrifice them at end step for card advantage. Recursion engines like Living Death, Chainer, Nightmare Adept, and Phyrexian Reclamation return those creatures for repeated value. The deck wins through combat damage, often chaining extra combat steps with Karlach, Fury of Avernus and Moraug, Fury of Akoum to overwhelm opponents with multiple attacks from massive creatures.
