Deck overview

This mono-blue control deck uses Bruvac the Grandiloquent to double all mill effects dealt to opponents. It focuses on turning large percentage-based mill cards into lethal game-ending events. With Bruvac in play, spells like Maddening Cacophony kick to mill 100% of each opponent's library, while Traumatize and Terisian Mindbreaker eliminate single players in one shot. The deck supports this game plan with eight copies of Persistent Petitioners, persistent mill enchantments such as Court of Cunning and Mesmeric Orb, and a solid counterspell suite to defend key turns. Because the deck runs minimal mana acceleration, it plays at an honest tempo pace, steadily assembling its mana base through basic Islands before executing decisive mass-mill spells on Turns 6 and 7.
