Deck overview

This Gruul deck operates as an optimized Midrange Stax-Combo strategy led by Kibo, Uktabi Prince. The deck pairs dense 0–2 CMC mana acceleration with aggressive artifact denial, utilizing Collector Ouphe, Manglehorn, and Karn, the Great Creator to lock down opposing mana rocks, Treasures, and the Banana tokens generated by Kibo. As opponents struggle under artifact suppression and token-sacrifice punishment from Bloodroot Apothecary, the deck converts artifact destruction into massive Ape beatdown and continuous card draw through engines like Viridian Revel and Sylvan Library. To close out games decisively, the list features a compact infinite combo using Dualcaster Mage and Twinflame (or Heat Shimmer), which generates infinite hasty 2/2 attackers for a same-turn table elimination. Backed by free protective interaction such as Deflecting Swat, Veil of Summer, and Force of Vigor, the deck transitions seamlessly from resource denial into an unanswerable win.
