Deck overview

This deck is an Azorius flying typal strategy centered around Kastral, the Windcrested. It deploys low-cost evasive Birds early in the game to establish immediate air supremacy. Once Kastral enters the battlefield, every combat damage connection yields modular value: card draw, permanent +1/+1 counters across the flock, or direct reanimation of fallen Birds. The deck rapidly scales its damage output using potent anthem effects like Gravitational Shift, Favorable Winds, and True Conviction, turning small utility flyers into a lethal armada. A deep interactive package featuring efficient counterspells such as Dazzling Denial and premium white exile removal protects your board and disrupts opposing combos. While reliant on combat damage and vulnerable to mass board wipes, redundant token producers like Battle Screech and defensive anchors like Sephara, Sky's Blade ensure resilience. It reliably establishes lethal pressure by Turn 6 and closes games on Turn 8.
