Deck overview

This is a turbo-Izzet spellslinger deck built around Bohn, Beguiling Balladeer's ability to grant every nonland card in hand foretell with its cost reduced by {2}. That ability does two things: it turns every spell into an installment plan (pay {2} now, cast for two less later) and, crucially, it lets you bank your hand in exile so wheels become one-sided draw-sevens. The goad trigger is real but incidental - it mostly buys time while you spin up. The deck's plan is volume: draw huge off wheels and magecraft engines, generate mana with rituals and Storm-Kiln Artist-style triggers, multiply noncombat damage with Solphim, Mayhem Dominus, Twinflame Tyrant, City on Fire, and Insult // Injury, then finish the table with Crackle with Power, Comet Storm, or a stormed Lightning Bolt via Thousand-Year Storm/Crackling Spellslinger. Mizzix's Mastery overloaded and Jin-Gitaxias's free-cast chapters are alternate one-card kill lines.
