Cthulhu by SrumeNecro

Format: Commander

Commander: Runo Stromkirk // Krothuss, Lord of the Deep

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

This is a graveyard-setup sea-monster deck built around Krothuss, Lord of the Deep. Runo, Stromkirk // Krothuss' front face, is the setup half: mill or discard a large Kraken/Leviathan/Octopus/Serpent, cast Runo to put it on top, then flip on the next upkeep and attack. Krothuss then copies another attacker, turning a single hit into a tapped-and-attacking token army. Marvo is the closest thing to a hidden commander and can generate free spells, but the list is not Marvo-centric. The deck wins by grinding to a ton of unblockable, islandwalking sea monsters and swinging over two or three combat steps, with recursion and one-sided wipes as backup.
