Commander: The Mimeoplasm

Bracket: 5

Deck overview

The Mimeoplasm deck is a fast, tutor-heavy combo deck built around Hermit Druid as a hidden commander: with zero basic lands, one activation mills the entire library, setting up a Thassa's Oracle win. Demonic Consultation and Tainted Pact provide redundant library-emptiers. The commander is a flexible backup: it can copy Necrotic Ooze to run the Devourer/Ballista kill or exile key graveyard cards. Secondary paths include Kinnan + Basalt Monolith infinite mana into Walking Ballista. Dense fast mana, eight-plus tutors, and free counterspells let the deck threaten wins from turn three while protecting the combo. The main plan is all-in on the graveyard and library, so timing and protection are critical.
