Deck overview

This is a Xyris, the Writhing Storm wheel-token deck. The core plan is to resolve mass-draw spells - Windfall, Jace's Archivist, Magus of the Wheel, Dragon Mage, Raphael's Technique - forcing each opponent to draw seven, which converts into a 1/1 Snake token per card drawn via Xyris's first ability. Those snakes are then multiplied by a dense token-doubling package (Doubling Season, Primal Vigor, Adrix and Nev, Twincasters, Second Harvest, For the Common Good) and converted into table-wide damage by ETB payoffs (Purphoros, God of the Forge, Impact Tremors, Warstorm Surge, Witty Roastmaster, Molten Gatekeeper, Agate Instigator, Weftstalker Ardent, Raphael, Tough Turtle). A single wheel with Purphoros on board is lethal. Secondary lines include hasted snake combat via Mass Hysteria with unblockable enablers (Kaseto, Orochi Archmage, Minamo Sightbender, Protective Bubble), and Brudiclad, Telchor Engineer converting the swarm into copies of a giant token.
