Deck overview

This deck is a Rakdos discard and reanimation strategy commanded by Green Goblin, Revenant. The game plan revolves around cycling through the library with rummage and looting effects such as Cathartic Reunion, Thrill of Possibility, and Tormenting Voice to stock the graveyard with high-impact creatures. Once the commander enters the battlefield, attacking triggers an escalating card-draw engine based on the total number of cards discarded that turn. The deck leverages this velocity into mid-game power spikes by reanimating massive threats like The Dawning Archaic, Desert Were-Worm, or an entire army with Behold the Sinister Six!. While the deck features strong resilience through redundant recursion and steady hand replenishment, its reliance on natural land drops, limited fast mana, and telegraphed combat damage leaves it vulnerable to graveyard hate and creature board wipes.
