Deck overview

This mono-green stompy deck is engineered around Goreclaw, Terror of Qal Sisma, leveraging early acceleration into cost-reduced high-power creatures. By deploying turn-1 and turn-2 mana ramp, Goreclaw reliably lands on Turn 3, enabling explosive deployments of 5-to-7-mana beaters as early as Turn 4. The deck utilizes a dense package of 'power 4 or greater' draw engines—such as Garruk's Uprising, Elemental Bond, and Tribute to the World Tree—to replace cast threats and sustain resources. Combat evasion is natively provided by Goreclaw's trample-granting attack trigger, amplified by finishers like Overwhelming Stampede, Surrak and Goreclaw, and Unnatural Growth. While susceptible to mass creature sweepers and lacking stack interaction, the deck offsets removal with efficient instant protection spells and high threat density, closing out four-player pods through lethal trample damage by Turn 7.
