Edgar by user2765224

Format: Commander

Commander: Edgar Markov

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Edgar Markov leads a Mardu Vampire swarm that uses Eminence to turn every Vampire spell into an extra token. The primary plan is to curve cheap Vampires into lords, then swing with a hasty Edgar and a wide board, using Shared Animosity and Sanctum Seeker to convert attacks into damage and life loss. Secondary paths are aristocrat drain with Blood Artist and Viscera Seer, and the Exquisite Blood plus Sanguine Bond/Vito/Marauding Blight-Priest loop. The hidden commander is Emeritus of Woe // Demonic Tutor, which becomes a repeatable Demonic Tutor whenever two creatures die in a turn. Edgar's role is both an anthem on attack and a token engine from the command zone.
