Format: Commander

Commander: K'rrik, Son of Yawgmoth

Bracket: 5

Deck overview

K'rrik, Son of Yawgmoth turns life into the deck's primary resource. The list is a compact monoblack combo engine that uses fast mana and cheap tutors to deploy a draw engine (Ad Nauseam, Necropotence, Bolas's Citadel) by turn two, then converts that card advantage into a storm kill or an infinite life-loss loop. Bolas's Citadel operates as a hidden second commander, letting K'rrik chain black spells off the top of the library. Secondary plans include reanimating Vilis or Razaketh and beating down with a giant commander. The deck is explosive but linear: if the life-paying engine is stopped or the pilot runs out of life, the game plan slows considerably.
