Deck overview

This deck is a Grixis graveyard and discard engine commanded by Norman Osborn // Green Goblin. The early game focuses on deploying Norman Osborn as an unblockable attacker to connive, smooth land drops, and load the graveyard with action. Once transformed into Green Goblin, every discarded nonland card gains mayhem and graveyard spells receive a {2} cost reduction. The deck turns looting spells like Frantic Search and Cathartic Reunion into massive tempo plays by immediately casting discarded cards from the graveyard. Victory is achieved through table-wide attrition, using burn payoffs like Glint-Horn Buccaneer, Cool but Rude, and Burning Vengeance alongside evasive attacks from flying and menace creatures. While the deck possesses explosive mid-game turns, its slower tapland base and vulnerability to graveyard hate require careful navigation against fast interactive pods.
