The Most Addictive Way to Play Gruul 🐺 | Faldorn [Video Guide] by tolto

Format: Commander

Commander: Faldorn, Dread Wolf Herald

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

Faldorn, Dread Wolf Herald drives a Gruul exile-impulse go-wide deck. You exile cards with Faldorn, Valakut Exploration, Professional Face-Breaker and 15+ other impulse sources; each cast from exile or land entering from exile makes a 2/2 Wolf. Wolves and other tokens swarm the board and win through combat pumped by Beastmaster Ascension, Craterhoof Behemoth, or Finale of Devastation, with Purphoros, Terror of the Peaks and City on Fire turning each entry into direct damage. Faldorn is the primary engine and token maker. Birgi, God of Storytelling // Harnfel, Horn of Bounty acts as hidden commander, providing mana and repeatable exile advantage and enabling the deck's only combo with Savvy Trader and Sensei's Divining Top.
