Sab-Sunen Something by Jarbo

Format: Commander

Commander: Sab-Sunen, Luxa Embodied

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This deck is a Simic +1/+1 counter synergy strategy helmed by Sab-Sunen, Luxa Embodied. The primary game plan revolves around deploying the commander as a repeatable draw engine (every other turn she draws two cards), then overwhelming opponents with enormous hydras and counter-multiplied creatures. The deck includes multiple counter doublers (Doubling Season, Branching Evolution, The Earth Crystal, Loading Zone) and redundancy in Hardened Scales. Win conditions range from combat damage via trampling hydras like Kalonian Hydra and Mossborn Hydra, the infect route via Triumph of the Hordes or Grafted Exoskeleton on a big body like Blightsteel Colossus, and the alternate win condition Simic Ascendancy. The deck also packs a strong interaction suite of counterspells and removal, and a solid land-ramp package to accelerate into its high-end threats.
