Format: Commander

Commander: Thorin, King of Durin's Folk

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

Thorin, King of Durin's Folk is a Boros Dwarf-tribal engine that turns every Dwarf ETB into a Treasure and then scales the team off artifact tokens. The deck's main line is to flood the board with Dwarves and equipment, using Magda, Brazen Outlaw and Dori-style triggers for extra Treasures, before closing through combat or a Balin, Loremaster burn chain. Secondary lines include equipment voltron on Dain Ironfoot and the At the Door adventure to mass-produce tokens. There is no DFC commander or true hidden commander; Magda acts as a supporting engine, while Thorin is both the mana engine and the multiplier that props up a go-wide board.
