Jarad Sacrificial Deck by Deepfreeze

Format: Commander

Commander: Jarad, Golgari Lich Lord

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This is a Golgari graveyard-sacrifice value deck helmed by Jarad, Golgari Lich Lord. The primary strategy revolves around filling the graveyard with creatures, then using reanimation and sacrifice synergies to drain opponents via Jarad's activated ability or overwhelm through combat. Key win conditions include sacrificing a massive creature like Jumbo Cactuar or Craterhoof Behemoth to Jarad for a one-shot kill, or using the life-drain triggers from Marauding Blight-Priest and Starscape Cleric to finish off the table. The deck features a dense recursion suite, multiple draw engines, and a modest tutor package, but lacks counterspells and fast mana, making it a mid-range grinder that wins through sustained value and a single large swing.
