Commander: The Locust God

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This is an Izzet draw-token swarm deck helmed by The Locust God, whose entire game plan is converting raw card draw into a hasty, flying Insect horde. The deck leans on a dense wheel package - Timetwister, Winds of Change, Tolarian Winds, Magus of the Wheel, Jace's Archivist - plus repeatable draw engines like Mindmoil and Arjun, the Shifting Flame to flood the hand and, in turn, the board. Anthems such as Favorable Winds, Gravitational Shift, Shared Animosity, and Frostcliff Siege turn the swarm lethal in a single combat. Niv-Mizzet, Parun offers a backup ping-damage line, while Brudiclad, Telchor Engineer and Third Path Iconoclast provide token redundancy if the commander is kept off the board. The deck is a pure value engine: no infinite combos, just overwhelming card volume and a wide flying clock.
