Deck overview

This deck is a colorless Voltron and artifact midrange strategy led by Traxos, Scourge of Kroog. Traxos provides an aggressive 7/7 trampling body for four mana, bypassing its untap restriction whenever you cast any historic spell. The deck uses dense colorless acceleration, including Sol Ring, Mana Vault, and Urza lands, to deploy Traxos ahead of curve on turn 3. Once deployed, cheap artifacts and equipment such as Commander's Plate, Fireshrieker, and Excalibur, Sword of Eden immediately untap Traxos and turn it into a lethal commander-damage threat by turn 4. Supporting protection like Lightning Greaves and Not of This World shields Traxos from targeted interaction while it systematically eliminates opponents across subsequent combats. If Traxos is contained, the deck pivots into devastating high-mana colorless threats like Blightsteel Colossus, All Is Dust, and Eldrazi titans, or generates infinite colorless mana with Basalt Monolith and Forsaken Monument.
