Deck overview

This deck is a Sultai big-mana midrange list commanded by Zaxara, the Exemplary. The primary strategy focuses on deploying Zaxara early to accelerate mana and generate large Hydra tokens whenever an X-spell is cast. The deck features a potent two-card infinite mana combo using Freed from the Real or Pemmin's Aura attached to Zaxara. Once infinite mana of all colors is generated, the deck funnels it into lethal game-enders such as Torment of Hailfire, Exsanguinate, or Walking Ballista. If the combo is interrupted or not drawn, the deck pivots naturally into a stompy combat strategy. Cards like Unbound Flourishing, Kalonian Hydra, and Zopandrel, Hunger Dominus double the power of your creatures to overwhelm opponents with trample damage. While the deck boasts immense mana scaling and high individual card quality, its main limitations are a low density of tutors and modest stack interaction.
