Deck overview

This mono-black deck leverages lifegain triggers and asymmetric drain engines to pressure opponents and assemble an instant-speed infinite combo. Commanded by Sorin of House Markov, the deck utilizes early lifelink attackers, incremental drain effects, and cheap card advantage engines to build resources. Its primary win condition pairs a life-loss payoff like Exquisite Blood or Bloodthirsty Conqueror with a lifegain-to-damage converter like Vito, Thorn of the Dusk Rose, Enduring Tenacity, or Starscape Cleric. Once both pieces are present, any single point of lifegain or damage creates an unstoppable loop that drains all three opponents to zero on Turn 5. Backed by explosive black mana engines in Cabal Coffers and Crypt Ghast, high-density creature removal, and cheap reanimation, the deck can also pivot into lethal Torment of Hailfire or Exsanguinate finishers when combo pieces are contested.
