Deck overview

This Esper deck pairs Angel tribal beatdown with lifegain synergies, powered by Oloro, Ageless Ascetic from the command zone. Oloro provides passive life gain every upkeep without needing to enter the battlefield, steadily pushing your life total toward critical thresholds. The deck accelerates through early artifact ramp and Giada, Font of Hope into potent enablers like Righteous Valkyrie, Resplendent Angel, and Heliod, Sun-Crowned. As your life total climbs above starting values, your flying army gains substantial stat boosts and generates additional Angel tokens. Finishers like Archangel of Thune, Lyra Dawnbringer, and Avacyn, Angel of Hope turn combat steps into overwhelming aerial strikes, while Vito, Thorn of the Dusk Rose, Enduring Tenacity, and Aetherflux Reservoir convert surplus life directly into opponent damage. High-cost indestructible lords safeguard the late game, while efficient single-target removal keeps priority threats in check.
