Deck overview

This deck is a non-green (WUBR) midrange polymorph deck commanded by Jace, Multiverse Architect. The primary game plan revolves around deploying cheap creatures, planeswalker tokens, or artifact tokens in the opening turns, then casting Jace on Turn 4 to immediately activate his −3 ability and cheat game-dominating creatures and planeswalkers directly from the library onto the battlefield. The threat suite includes massive flying beaters like Archon of Cruelty, Astral Dragon, Cavern-Hoard Dragon, and Darksteel Angel, alongside potent damage and life-loss multipliers such as Archfiend of Despair, Twinflame Tyrant, and Wound Reflection. In addition to its polymorph beatdown plan, the deck runs incidental redundancy in mass transformation spells like Mass Polymorph and Synthetic Destiny, as well as the compact infinite life-drain combo of Exquisite Blood and Vito, Thorn of the Dusk Rose. Robust sweepers, targeted removal, and defensive pillowfort pieces allow the deck to stabilize early and pivot into an overwhelming aerial finish.
