Deck overview

This mono-white deck focuses on life manipulation, reanimation, and evasive token beatdown led by Celestine, the Living Saint. The early turns establish cheap lifegain enablers such as Soul Warden and Guide of Souls alongside efficient artifact and catch-up ramp. By Turn 4 or 5, the commander enters play, leveraging lifegain triggers to repeatedly recur destroyed utility creatures directly to the battlefield each end step. The mid-to-late game converts high life totals into overwhelming board pressure using token generators like Crested Sunmare and Resplendent Angel, alongside team-wide buffs from Archangel of Thune and Righteous Valkyrie. Alternative finishes include direct elimination via Aetherflux Reservoir or a devastating one-sided sweep with Ajani, Strength of the Pride. The deck is resilient against targeted spot removal due to dedicated protection creatures and spells, though it remains vulnerable to mass exile effects and dedicated graveyard hate.
