Deck overview

This deck is a mono-white Equipment aggro list commanded by Ekthi, Contaminator Priest. The central strategy exploits Ekthi's static ability, which gives all Equipment you control living weapon while granting other Phyrexians +1/+1. Because Phyrexian Germ tokens enter as 0/0 creatures, Ekthi's anthem keeps them alive as 1/1s even with zero-toughness Equipment, creating a free, attached body whenever any Equipment enters the battlefield. This completely circumvents high equip costs on cards like Colossus Hammer, Argentum Armor, and Wrecking Ball Arm. The deck accelerates its board on Turns 4 and 5, generating a wide and tall army of equipped Germs. It relies on combat damage across Turns 6 through 8 to eliminate opponents sequentially, backed by card draw engines such as Sram, Senior Edificer and Caretaker's Talent, and protective spells like Restoration Magic and Conqueror's Flail.
