Deck overview

This Temur spellslinger deck leverages Iroh, Grand Lotus to convert the graveyard into a high-velocity card engine. By granting all Lessons a flat flashback cost of {1} and giving other instants and sorceries standard flashback during your turn, Iroh circumvents normal resource constraints. The deck fuels this engine using looting spells like Faithless Looting and Demand Answers, loading the graveyard with versatile utility Lessons. In the midgame, attacking with firebending creatures generates temporary red mana that pays for cheap flashback spells during combat. These flurries trigger token generators such as Young Pyromancer and Rite of the Dragoncaller, while combat enhancers like Balmor, Battlemage Captain and Bria, Riptide Rogue grant massive power buffs and evasion. The deck reliably presents lethal combat damage on Turn 6 and finishes the table on Turn 7. It is vulnerable to graveyard exile and board sweepers, but recovers quickly by recasting its commander.
