Kaalia's birth and death 👼😈(casual edh) 250€ by woolfy

Format: Commander

Commander: Kaalia of the Vast

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This Mardu deck is built around Kaalia of the Vast's attack trigger, turning hand-held Angels, Demons, and Dragons into free attackers. Its primary plan is to ramp into Kaalia, protect her, then use each combat to cheat in expensive threats with devastating ETBs. Secondary plans use Demon tutors and reanimation to access bombs from the graveyard, while Kaalia, Zenith Seeker acts as a hidden value commander by refilling the hand with the needed creature types. The deck finishes with combat damage, usually multiplied by True Conviction and Gisela, or grinds with Kokusho and Yosei recursion. Goad and protection spells buy time for the attack phases; without a successful Kaalia attack, the deck loses a full turn of development.
