Commander: Choco, Seeker of Paradise

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Choco, Seeker of Paradise is a Bird-tribal tempo deck that uses its attack trigger to filter for Birds and lands, ramping out landfall token engines and anthems. Primary plan: deploy Choco with cost reducers, attack with as many Birds as possible, then convert Choco's land drops into Bird tokens from Emeria Angel, Chocobo Racetrack, or Sidequest. Secondary paths: commander damage from an oversized Choco/Kastral or a one-turn Murmuration/Perch Protection surge. The hidden 'support commander' is Derevi in the 99, useful as a Bird but its command-zone ability is dormant. Without Choco the deck still functions at reduced speed, so it is moderately dependent on the commander.
