Deck overview

This deck is a high-speed Tempo and Ninja Burn strategy led by Yuriko, the Tiger's Shadow. The primary game plan deploys cheap, evasive 0-and-1-mana creatures to establish early unblocked attacks. On Turn 2, the deck activates Yuriko's commander ninjutsu to cheat her onto the battlefield from the command zone. When Yuriko and other Ninjas deal combat damage, their triggers reveal the top card of the library, put it into hand, and drain all opponents for life equal to its mana value. The deck uses dense topdeck manipulation—including Brainstorm, Lim-Dûl's Vault, and Brainsurge—to stack high-mana-value spells like Shadow of Mortality (15 mana value) and Temporal Trespass (11 mana value) right before combat damage resolves. Supporting Ninjas such as Ingenious Infiltrator maintain card flow, while lightweight counterspells and bounce spells protect the board. This synergy converts combat connections into explosive global burn, eliminating all three opponents simultaneously around Turn 5.
