huge lifegain by antiasama

Format: Commander

Commander: Bre of Clan Stoutarm

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This is a Boros Giants-and-lifegain value deck helmed by Bre of Clan Stoutarm. The core loop is to gain life through a dense lifegain package - Rhox Faithmender, Cleric Class, The Wind Crystal, Leyline of Hope - then convert that life into free spells via Bre's end-step trigger, which exiles until a nonland and lets you cast it free if its mana value is within the life gained that turn. The deck wins through Giant combat damage doubled by Calamity Bearer, fling effects (Brion Stoutarm, Fling, Kazuul's Fury, Surtland Flinger) throwing a life-scaled Serra Avatar or oversized Giants, and the Felidar Sovereign 40-life alternate win. It is a midrange value deck that grinds card advantage through lifegain payoffs and tribal synergies rather than fast combo lines.
