Crazy Combat by artisticviking

Format: Commander

Commander: Bumi, Unleashed

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This is a Gruul land-creature "earthbend" deck helmed by Bumi, Unleashed, built to turn lands into hasty attackers and then chain extra combat steps off Bumi's combat damage trigger. The core loop is simple and explosive: attack with Bumi and your animated lands, untap everything (land creatures are lands, so they untap too), then attack again in the extra combat - with only land creatures, which is exactly what you have. Unnatural Growth, High Score, and Doc Samson, Super Psychiatrist multiply the +1/+1 counters and power each cycle, turning a modest board into a one-turn kill. Secondary paths include giant tramplers like Ghalta, Primal Hunger and Etali, Primal Storm, free-cast engines in Cosmic Cube and Etali, and direct damage from Casey Jones, Back Alley Brute. The deck is a midrange combo-aggro hybrid that wants to assemble Bumi plus two or three animated lands and then win in a single multi-combat turn.
