Format: Commander

Commander: Gandalf, Party Guest

Bracket: 2

Deck overview

This Jeskai list centers on Gandalf, Party Guest as a free-spell engine in a legendary Wizard/Dwarf shell. The commander's X scales with legendary Wizards, so the deck tries to resolve Gandalf the White, Spark Starter, and Wandering Wizard to unlock free casts of At the Door, Thorin's Last Stand, and Desolation of Smaug. Dwarf synergy-Thorin's treasures and Kili's draws-turns those tokens into a lethal attack, while Gandalf the White doubles many artifact/legendary triggers. The hidden second commander is effectively Gandalf the White, who both raises the Wizard count and gives the deck flash. There is no infinite combo; wins come from a large token alpha strike or an extra-combat attack with Desert Were-Worm.
