Rakdos Treasures by Arez76

Format: Commander

Commander: Smaug the Impenetrable

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Rakdos treasure deck built around Smaug the Impenetrable as an indestructible damage sponge. The commander's haste and noncombat-damage trigger let cheap burn and self-pinging spells convert into huge Treasure bursts. Xorn and Academy Manufactor multiply those tokens; Mayhem Devil and Mirkwood Bats turn token sacrifice into table-wide drain; Hellkite Tyrant and Knuckles the Echidna are alternate upkeep wins. Smaug, Wicked Worm functions as a hidden backup commander, producing Treasures from opponents' artifacts and letting Treasure-spent cards cantrip. The deck can also execute a sudden Blasphemous Act on its commander, then win via artifact count.
