Deck overview

This is an Esper control deck helmed by Merieke Ri Berit, built around the classic steal-and-destroy engine: tap her to seize an opponent's creature, then use the deck's dense untap suite to either maintain control of multiple stolen bodies or untap her to destroy them permanently. The untap theme is the deck's spine - Ioreth of the Healing House, Kelpie Guide, Drumbellower, White Plume Adventurer, Thousand-Year Elixir, Pemmin's Aura, Intruder Alarm, and the Dramatic Reversal + Isochron Scepter loop all feed it. The deck wins through total creature control plus combat with stolen threats, the The Millennium Calendar alternate win (doubled to 1,000+ counters via infinite untaps), and extra turns from Time Warp and Lighthouse Chronologist. It is a control shell with a compact, tutor-supported combo finish.
