Deck overview

This Grixis deck focuses on artifact creature token generation, incremental life loss, and political attrition led by Davros, Dalek Creator. The strategy revolves around dealing at least 3 damage each turn to trigger Davros's end-step ability, creating a menacing army of 3/3 Dalek tokens while forcing opponents into villainous choices that grant extra cards or strip resources. Goad mechanics from cards like The Rani and Day of the Moon keep opposing threats directed away from your life total while whittling enemy health. High-end force multipliers including Bloodletter of Aclazotz, Wound Reflection, and Cybermen Squadron dramatically accelerate the clock in the mid-to-late game, transforming modest chip damage into lethal table-wide bursts. While the deck boasts strong grind potential and resilient backup engines, its lack of countermagic and heavy reliance on artifact creature permanents leave it susceptible to well-timed sweepers.
