The cooler Daniel by user5538555

Format: Commander

Commander: Silverquill, the Disputant

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

This Orzhov deck is a spellslinger/aristocrats hybrid built around Silverquill, the Disputant's casualty 1, which turns every instant and sorcery into a copy at the cost of a creature. The deck generates a steady stream of cheap tokens - Skrelv's Hive, Ophiomancer, Jadar, Ghoulcaller of Nephalia, Sedgemoor Witch - then converts that fodder into copied X-spell finishers like Torment of Hailfire, Exsanguinate, and Blot Out the Sky, fueled by ritual bursts (Cabal Ritual, Culling the Weak) and Bolas's Citadel. Secondary paths include Sanguine Bond converting the deck's heavy life gain into damage, Syr Konrad, the Grim drain loops, and token combat upgraded by Divine Visitation and Exalted Sunborn. It is a midrange value deck that wins through a single explosive, copied spell rather than incremental beats.
