Commander: The Scarab God

Deck overview

This is a Dimir Zombie tribal deck built to grind out incremental advantages through creature ETB/death triggers, token generation, and repeatable reanimation. The primary plan is to flood the board with Zombies, use anthems and drain effects to convert every token and death into life loss, and finish with either a wide attack or The Scarab God's upkeep drain. The commander serves as the late-game engine: a resilient 5/5 that returns from the graveyard, reanimates key creatures as 4/4 Zombies, and drains all opponents once the board is large. There is no hidden commander; Wilhelt, the Rotcleaver and Gisa and Geralf are powerful lieutenants, not the deck's focus.
