Elf Deck by IADD7

Format: Commander

Commander: Thranduil, the Elvenking

Bracket: 4

Deck overview

Thranduil is a graveyard-toolbox combo commander. Self-mill and tutors (Entomb, Buried Alive, Hermit Druid, Gifts Ungiven) stock the graveyard with the Elf activated abilities Thranduil needs; once he lands, he becomes a mana engine that can untap itself with Devoted Druid and reset its toughness with Tyvar, the Pummeler. The usual kill is infinite green mana into Walking Ballista or Exsanguinate. Necrotic Ooze offers a second copy of the engine, while Maskwood Nexus plus Wirewood Symbiote and the Umbral Mantle/Training Grounds package provide alternate loops. The commander's legendary-Elf draw trigger also refuels the hand.
