Deck overview

This Boros kindred deck utilizes Thorin, King of Durin's Folk to turn low-cost Dwarves into aggressive, hard-hitting threats. During the early turns, the deck deploys efficient Dwarf creatures and mana ramp to establish a strong board foundation. Casting Thorin on Turn 4 immediately activates a powerful token-generation engine: whenever Thorin or another Dwarf enters the battlefield, you create a Treasure token. Thorin grants all other Dwarves +1/+0 for each artifact token you control, allowing your board power to scale rapidly with every token created. By Turn 5, token multipliers like Academy Manufactor and Anointed Procession or kindred combat boosters like Shared Animosity turn modest boards into lethal attacking waves. The deck backs up this aggressive clock with high-efficiency spot removal, discounted board wipes, and premier defensive spells such as Flawless Maneuver and Teferi's Protection to safeguard its creature army on the path to victory.
