Deck overview

This deck is a focused Mono-Green Stompy build centered around Ghalta, Primal Hunger. The game plan accelerates mana on Turn 1-2 to deploy over-statted creatures such as Steel Leaf Champion, Pugnacious Hammerskull, and Rhonas the Indomitable on Turn 3. This high power quickly reduces Ghalta, Primal Hunger's casting cost to just two green mana by Turn 4. Once Ghalta hits the battlefield, draw engines like Elemental Bond, Garruk's Uprising, and Rishkar's Expertise draw deep into the deck, replenishing the hand with overwhelming threats and game-ending pump spells like Overwhelming Stampede and Unnatural Growth. The deck wins through massive combat damage and trample. While highly resilient to single-target removal due to rapid recast lines and redundant beaters, it requires careful timing to protect against board sweepers.
