Deck overview

This deck is a high-synergy tempo strategy centered on Yuriko, the Tiger's Shadow. The primary plan opens on Turn 1 with an unblockable creature, enabling Commander Ninjutsu on Turn 2 for {U}{B}. This activated ability cheats Yuriko directly into combat, bypassing standard counterspells and the commander tax. When Yuriko deals combat damage, she reveals the top card of the library, drawing it and dealing damage equal to its mana value to every opponent simultaneously. The deck widens its board with evasive Ninjas like Ingenious Infiltrator and Mist-Syndicate Naga, using topdeck manipulation such as Brainstorm and Sensei's Divining Top to set up massive reveals like Shadow of Mortality. Efficient interaction like Fierce Guardianship and Deadly Rollick protects the board while unblockable attacks eliminate the table around Turn 6.
