Deck overview

This five-color midrange deck is led by partner commanders Leonardo, the Balance and Raphael, the Muscle. The strategy focuses on establishing early creature presence and producing tokens to trigger Leonardo's ability, distributing +1/+1 counters across your entire board once per turn. Once a solid board of modified creatures is assembled, casting Raphael supercharges your offense by creating an immediate Mutagen token and doubling all damage dealt by creatures with counters. The deck leverages heavy combat pressure, augmented by evasion enablers like Baxter, Fly in the Ointment and trample granting from Leonardo's five-color activated ability. While it lacks fast combo finishes, it presents rapid combat scaling, resilient recursion through cards like Together Forever, and asymmetric board control using Wave Goodbye. Its primary path to victory is overwhelming opponents through heavy, double-damage attacks across Turns 5 through 7.
