MIIRYM OLD. by user1935123

Format: Commander

Commander: Miirym, Sentinel Wyrm

Bracket: 3

Deck overview

Miirym, Sentinel Wyrm is a Dragon-tribal value engine: every nontoken Dragon that enters also creates a nonlegendary copy, quickly doubling the board. The deck accelerates with mana rocks, land ramp, and Dragon cost reducers, aiming to land Miirym by turns 4-5, then snowball into evasive Dragon tokens. The primary win is combat damage, using Atarka and Thrakkus to turn wide boards into lethal double-strike, power-doubled swings. Treasure generators like Klauth and Old Gnawbone fuel chains of extra Dragons. A compact Astral Dragon plus Doubling Season package can also produce a massive token swarm, usually closed by Terror of the Peaks. The deck lacks a true instant win but reaches overwhelming board states quickly.
